Memorial Day grave decorations at Mt Olivet and county cemeteries
Sixteen Legionnaires and 14 Boy Scouts decorated Mt Olivet graves at 1 PM in rain and completed work for 952 veterans. Nine Legion members and one Auxiliary assisted with 963 more graves across eight county cemeteries while others organized flags at multiple sites. Memorial Day ceremonies Friday will include a Fort Detrick address and flag changing at the Francis Scott Key grave with a bugler and guards.
