Knights Templar Ascension Day Service at M E Church
About eighty members of Jacques de Molay Commandery Knights Templar led by Commander Ames Hendrickson attended the Ascension Day service at the Methodist Episcopal church. Rev James C Wrightson delivered the sermon after a procession from the Masonic Temple through Court West Second Market and Church streets to the church. The discourse emphasized angelic visitation, Jesus divine nature, and the future return for judgment, contrasting earthly expectations with heavenly truths and stressing salvation through Christ.
