Myer S. Isaacs Dies in Broadway Cafe
Myer S. Isaacs, president of the Baron de Hirsh Fund and a noted figure in legal and political circles, collapsed and died of heart disease in a Broadway cafe at age 63. He was walking home from his office when he asked to rest, then expired minutes later. He helped found and served as vice president of the Functional Alliance and held posts with Columbia Bank and several scholarly and reform associations.
