County weighs airport comments as city pushes expansion

Russell Moore Named Warrant Officer in Germany Assignment
Russell W. Moore Jr., son of a Westminster resident, was appointed to the warrant officer rank while serving with the 50th Ordinance Brigade in Pirmasens Germany. A warrant officer is a highly skilled technician filling specialized duties above enlisted level. Moore joined the Army in September 1965 and completed high school via GED.

Rabies Vaccine Clinic Planned for Gaithersburg Pets
A free rabies vaccination clinic will be held at Summit Hall Park West Deer Park in Gaithersburg from 12 to 2 30 pm Friday May 25. Pets must be leashed and accompanied by a capable adult. Gaithersburg residents pay a $4 license fee at vaccination time under county law requiring all dogs over four months to be vaccinated and licensed.
