The Frederick County Historical Society sponsored a retrospective of Claire McCardell designs during the Hood College class of 1927 reunion year. Betty Davis coordinated the show with over 30 preserved outfits and accessories revealing McCardell as a pacesetter whose work remains in step with modern fashion.
