Lloyd Monroe Fogle 75 of Frederick died May 20 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. Born June 22, 1917, he founded Fogle Accounting Associates on West Second Street and was active in Junior Fire Company and local lodges. He is survived by wife Mary Moore Fogle and daughter Patricia Fogle. brother Paul Fogle preceded him. The family will receive friends.

Donald Bud Eagle, 66, of 704 Jefferson Pike Knoxville, died Thursday after suffering a heart attack and driving his garden tractor into a pond on Jefferson Pike. He worked as a caretaker at a farm there when the incident occurred, according to Trooper J W Merritt.

Frederick Adopts Eight Affordable Housing Recommendations
Frederick city and county officials unanimously approved eight recommendations from the Affordable Housing Commission to boost affordable housing. Proposals include tax and fee abatements for first time buyers, a revolving land fund, a non profit development corporation, and regulatory changes to ease development. A 16 member panel backed using vacant structures and pursuing demonstration projects while supporting current providers. A 25 member council was suggested but scaled to 16 with eight from each side. Funding allocations of 2000 and 1000 were approved for council operations. Also approved was a maintenance agreement for city buses joining the joint transportation system and a plan to relocate its headquarters to the citizens services building with a study of space at Montevue Lane.
