Infant Murder Charge In Lancaster Case
Virginia Thomas and Belle Berry, both young Black women, jailed for allegedly murdering infant son of Jesse McRichard by exposing him to bed bug poison. Parents placed child in Thomas care. Berry allegedly administered poison overnight, with Thomas claiming Berry’s involvement. A bottle of bedbug poison found at scene. May 18 report from Lancaster, Pa.
