Officers Salaries Raised At United Brethren Conference
The United Brethren General Conference raised general officers salaries. Topeka Kansas was chosen as the 1903 meeting site at Senator Edmonds invitation. The East Pennsylvania and Maryland Conferences will unite as the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference. A business session occurred last night with another planned tonight. many delegates foresee Monday adjournment.

New York Mystery Ends in Priest Death at Massage Studio
Rev Father Edward S Phillips of Hazleton was found dead in the rooms of Dr Stanley a massage operator at 730 Ninth Avenue. Police suspect poisoning or suffocation after an autopsy showed chronic nephritis fatty liver and fatty heart. Stanley was arrested after a late night encounter with the priest and two young women. Autopsy notes no violence and a chemical analysis of organs will be sent to a professor for study.
