Damascus High School Band to tour Europe for D-Day anniversary
The Damascus High School Band of 115 instrumentalists and 46 roots band members will depart from Dulles for an 11 day tour of England and France. They will attend ceremonies marking the 35th anniversary of the D-Day invasion, perform at Bournemouth Pavilion and other venues, parade at Ham City Hall St Lo and Utah Beach, visit D-Day museums, and end with ceremonies at Arc de Triomphe and a mayoral reception before returning to Washington DC.
