Frederick Ticket Offices Sell Mostly Major Shows
Frederick residents can buy tickets locally at two offices for Merriweather and other Washington venues. Ticketron, based mainly in Washington with a Gaithersburg feeder, handles concerts and select theater shows, not phone reservations. A second outlet, Shipley’s Sporting Goods in Frederick Towne Mall, operates as a TicketCenter offering access to venues from Wolf Trap to RFK Stadium, with Hands Across America upcoming.
