State orders farmer to cut hogs to 2500 by May 27

Youth smashes sprinkler head floods Frederick County Courthouse

A 17 month old boy fell into an 8 to 10 inch wide 25 foot well behind a Mulvane home. Tim Deneen crawled five feet to reach Jessy after five hours under ground. Rescuers widened a new shaft seven feet away and provided oxygen and warmth. The child was taken to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita in good condition and remained asleep and tired but stable.
