Incumbents Richard Grossnickle and Charles Smith may run again while others delay to gauge support. District 3B sees contests with McClellan and Boyd Smith facing challengers Stup and May. Congressional races draw Democrat challengers to Beverly Byron with no Republican foe yet. Filing ends July 2 ahead of September 11 primary and November 6 general elections.
