AMVETS to stage celebrity auction in Frederick venue
Thurmont Post 7 AMVETS hosts convention kickoff with a celebrity auction at the Inn in Frederick Friday at 5 pm. Frostburg State College prepares for a weekend of events starting Saturday with a reception for graduates and families at the Lane Center. Sunday features ROTC cadet commissioning led by Maj. Gen John T. Myers, a luncheon for the Class of 1936 and FSC students, and commencement at 3 pm in the Physical Education Center where over 450 degrees will be awarded with Susan J. Crawford delivering the address.
