Sixth District Democrats choose four delegates for national convention
The Sixth District selected four delegates and one alternate last Tuesday, each planning to attend the Democratic National Convention in San Francisco with different candidate loyalties. Absentee ballots and machine checks may alter the final tally by May 17, with Mondale leading in the state and hopes for uncommitted delegates fading as party figures push for Mondale or Hart support.
