Judge discusses Maryland court issues and outreach
Judge Bell of the Maryland Court of Appeals spoke to about 100 Frederick Rotary members on court challenges and public outreach. He cited rising caseloads since 1975, the need for more accessible courts, and new outreach programs including a court information office a speaker bureau and a Justice Matters newsletter. He urged improved lawyers images and noted his long service across all judicial levels.
