Union Warns Private Prisons Endanger Maryland Guards
The American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees Council 92 claims privatized prisons would raise rioting assaults and escapes in Maryland. The union cites低wages understaffing and higher costs, saying privatization offers no real savings and endangers communities. CCA rejects the critique, arguing private facilities can cut costs and match state salaries.
