Mt Airy Jayceettes weigh state policy on infant seats
Mount Airy Jayceettes meet next Thursday to decide if they will follow a Maryland policy expanding a reduced deposit for infant and toddler car seats. The policy, tied to KISS, aims to ensure low income families can access seats as demand rises after a new state law requiring approved seats. Local groups may apply eligibility rules and offer seats with deposits lowered to five dollars refundable on return.
