County Gains Partial Say Over Roads in Frederick
Frederick county officials report partial control of its lateral road system with the remaining $30 000 of the 1933 emergency relief appropriation to be used for winter maintenance and emergency repairs. The State Roads Commission retains overall authority while county funds and supervision are allowed for selected work. County Commissioners say local input remains advisory and limited to the unused portion of the appropriation.
