Dot Lake School in Alaska, with 16 students and staff guided by Tim and Mary MacDonald, visited Brunswick Middle on Tuesday. The group learned about dog sleds and long winter days and shared Alaska life with Brunswick sixth graders, who in turn described spring scents and highway traffic. The Elated visitors then prepared reports on life in Alaska marking a weeklong Washington trip that includes Harpers Ferry and the Charles Town Racetrack.
