Danceteller brings modern dance to Pittsburgh students
Pittsburgh AP report: Trina Collins leads Danceteller during a two week Artists in Schools residency at Winston Thurston School. The troupe blends theater like dance with music and voice, teaching kindergarten ABC shapes and performing for fourth graders. The company tours widely from Wilson College and performs at Shippenburg State and Penn State Capitol Campus. Collins aims for broader influence in cities such as Atlanta and Chicago.
