Buckeystown Man Dies In Penn Turnpike Crash
George Parson Mogg 47 of near Buckeystown was killed when he lost control in rain on the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Lancaster County. His coupe struck an eastbound car after jumping a median barrier. he was pinned for about 30 minutes and died at Ephrata Community Hospital.

Rain and Flash Flood Watch For Frederick County Creeks
A flash flood watch for small creeks and streams in Frederick County was issued this morning as rain and thundershowers move into the area. The wet weather remains tonight into Tuesday with easterly winds bringing clouds and highs in the 60s and lows in the 50s. A westerly shift Tuesday should push storms out, with a fair spell expected midweek and more rain possible Friday. Yesterday peaked at 81 and dropped to 57 overnight.

Nixon summons advisers as Vietnam decision nears loom
U S warplanes returned to the Hanoi area for the first time in three weeks and bombed storage depots barracks and training facilities. Carrier aircraft attacked about 15 miles west of Hanoi and all jets returned safely. The U S command said only tactical fighters took part and no B52s were used.

Pine Cliff Park To Get 23142 Federal Grant Aid

Girl 3 Is Killed Crossing U.S. 15
A three year old Frederick girl Teresa Jean Holter died Saturday at 9 45 am after darting from the east shoulder into the path of a southbound 1971 hard top on U S 15 near Mountville Road. Roy Carnes was driving the car. State police blamed inattention of the pedestrian. The child's home was nearby. Two other children were with her. one in the northbound lane and the other on the west shoulder. Frederick Memorial Hospital pronounced her dead.
