A blazing cabin on Elk Ridge in Pleasantville Washington County near Harpers Ferry and a chain saw fire in Locust Valley were blamed for two mountain fires Tuesday. Brunswick volunteers and local forestry workers helped contain both blazes, with one quarter acre burned near the cabin and about a tenth acre burned by the saw.
