The crippled aircraft carrier Wasp limped into Gravesend Bay New York with 61 Hobson survivors after the April 26 collision at sea. One Hobson crewman from Bloomfield New Jersey, 32 year old Joseph Torrisi, was lost with 176 others in four minutes.
