Murder suicide tied to Crestview Estates couple
Frederick County Sheriff's Office investigates a murder suicide on Harvest Drive in Mountaindale. Kathleen Marie Buckshaw, 22, and an unidentified man, likely husband Thomas Buckshaw, were found shot in their Crestview Estates home. Autopsy pending. dental and ballistic tests underway. a new shooting incident last September linked to a domestic dispute remains under review.

Bear blamed for wrecking Harmony area bee hives
On the Byrd property near Harmony east of Myersville a hungry bear tore apart 19 of 20 bee hives, damaging 130 acres of apiary. Bee keeper Ora Hays estimated losses at 2500 dollars and said honey production would have begun late May. Hays owns 20 other yards in three counties and will salvage the last colony while hoping the bear does not return.

Anne Marie Idoni, 38, of Frederick, charged with second degree murder in the 1992 death of her infant son Russell E Overs Hi. The child suffered blunt force trauma with lacerated liver and pancreatic injuries, multiple fractured ribs, some old and healing. Russell Overs Jr., 33, already indicted. new indictment doubles possible penalty to 30 years. Idoni and Overs were indicted by the same grand jury five weeks before trial. Bail set at $10,000 for Idoni and bond $10,000 for Overs. no trial date set.
