Restaurateur tak es students on Chesapeake Bay cruise
TILGHMAN ISLAND AP A Bay area restaurateur was ordered to educate students after illegal rockfish possession. Levin Buddy Harrison took Parkville High School seniors on a two hour Chesapeake Bay cruise and lunch at Chesapeake House while paying most costs. He was fined 2000 and placed on one year probation. The Talbot District Court judge refused to plea bargain and insisted on a guilty verdict to avoid setting a soft precedent. The trip involved funding from the Chesapeake Bay Trust and student contributions. Harrison defended the sentence and stated it was unfair.
