Maryland State Police investigate an alleged assault at Sam's Club after an employee grabbed off duty trooper Bob Cale’s arm when he left with five purchases and refused to show a receipt The trooper identified himself and questioned the store policy manager Beverly Ryan said there is no written policy and declined to comment The incident continued as Cale pressed for the policy location and validity with his purchases already paid and owned by him.
Ed Jenkins, a 57 year old Frederick resident, rose as a figure in racial understanding after joining the Frederick Moose Lodge in 1994 amid prior lodge exclusion. He helped bring Guardian Angels to Frederick in 1990, influencing the Ivory and Ebony Coalition.
Mr. Jenkins described forming a teen organization aimed at fighting drugs and alcohol, stating he is always creating an organization for a good cause. The brief notes his invention of Uesday's People, an initiative linked to this effort.
