Cigarettes Start Apartment Fire in Ambertown Condominiums
Theresa Davis and her 15 year old son Jaumarcus fled their Heather Ridge Drive condo as mulch and the building facade ignited from discarded cigarettes. Fire Marshal Tim Warner says three story attic and roof sustained damage to 12 apartments with an estimated loss of 350000 dollars. Firefighters arrived within minutes and residents salvaged most possessions. A separate mulch fire later burned at another Frederick complex.

17 year old arrested for bomb threat at MSD
