A major blaze destroyed the Universal Cooperage Corp. barrel factory in Elkridge Maryland early today. More than 150 volunteer firefighters from 10 communities fought the flames, two frame buildings were leveled in about two hours, no injuries were reported, and damage was estimated at about 150000 dollars.
