Chamber Refuses Endorsement for OTC Entry Referendum
At its annual convention the U S Chamber of Commerce rejected immediate endorsement of President Eisenhower's OTC entry plan. Delegates voted 227 to 163 for a nationwide member referendum, to run at least 90 days, delaying any chamber position before Congress acts.
