The Maryland Public Service Commission approved a temporary relief plan for Potomac Edison Co customers to defer about 0 of the fuel rate adjustment over six months. Residential March and April billers qualify, with May and June eligible if power costs stay high. Typical bills drop around 25 percent, mainly for electric customers, who must opt in by contacting the company. The decision raises no change to the fuel adjustment itself, amid ongoing PE rate cases and pending legislation.

Schools brace for higher electric bills in Frederick County

Carter Presses Brazil on Human Rights During Visit
