School board keeps some offices at downtown Frederick site
The Frederick County school board, city, and county agree to move part of the district offices to Hayward Road while retaining headquarters on East Church Street. About 42 personnel, including the superintendent and advisers, stay downtown. Projections show 159 personnel on Hayward Road within five years. The two Hayward Road buildings are valued at 5.5 million dollars. East Church Street sale value is undetermined. Settlement planned for today with the Plantronics deposit issue unresolved.
