Mom and two sons die in Baltimore blaze
A Baltimore woman Bettina Spence age 39 and her two sons 8 year old Anthony Carey and 5 year old James Caldwell died in a row house fire sparked by a malfunctioning television set. A teenager escaped downstairs. Two brand new smoke detectors were found unused in a dresser drawer. The fire was reported at 6 45 am and under control by 7 30 am.
