Goldstein Backs Woodsboro Park Plan Purchase Hope

State Comptroller Louis Goldstein and officials toured Woodsboro and Cunningham Falls State Park in Frederick County to support acquiring an 87 acre Woodsboro tract. He pledged to urge Governor Mandel to approve the park, with 75 percent funded by state and federal grants and 25 percent by Woodsboro, aided by a $4,000 American Legion grant. County Asked To Help Pay Industrial Consultant

Car Hits House On West South Street Injures Passenger

Early morning crash on West South Street left John Clyde Fowler with facial cuts after the car he rode in veered, struck garbage cans, and hit a porch at 486 West South Street. Driver James T.
