Court Affirms 4 Sales and Rejects 3 Bids on Securities Auction
The Circuit Court, in an opinion signed by Chief Judge Hammond Urner and Associate Judge Arthur D Willard, validated four bids from a public auction of Blue Ridge Securities, rejected three bids, and ordered reauction or resale for several securities. The sale included Emory L Coblentz related holdings and the Union Manufacturing stock, with a total reported gate of 6610.10. The court found no basis to overturn the publicly bid sales despite objections from private bidders.
