County Officials Inspect All Former Toll Roads
Carroll county commissioners began a multi day inspection of all former toll roads to identify needed repairs and improvements. The first stop was Johnsville to assess the road toward the Carroll county line, followed by routes from Buckeys town to Adamstown and the Ballenger pike to Ballenger Creek. Some roads are overdue for work, with a goal to act promptly. A bridge conference Friday will unite county and local officials at the court house to plan a joint bridge over Sam's Creek in Linganore district.
