In Frederick Maryland on Friday March 23 1986 commissioners discussed a floating zone concept to expand conservation areas from the Potomac River to the Pennsylvania line. Commissioners weigh transfer plan for EMS equipment during aid

A proposal before the commissioners outlines that when a sheriff's car responds to aid an ALS team, the ALS crew would transfer equipment to the sheriff's vehicle to complete the call. If only one cardiac rescue technician is needed, the other CRT would stay with the vehicle and the equipment until arrangements for another vehicle are made by the ALS coordinator or motor pool. The commissioners plan to discuss the request for official action at an upcoming workshop.
