Maryland Economic Development Commission Invited to Frederick
The Maryland Economic Development Commission was invited to meet in Frederick by the Frederick Chamber of Commerce board. Irving Weil, newly named to the commission by Governor Tawes, explained the group’s work and its first annual report to the chamber. The board praised local information flow for national industrial locating efforts. David Stirling joined the chamber board to fill the unexpired term of the late Robert Niesdemus.
