Man Sought By Police Is Dead
State Police closed the probe into Raymond J Williams 48 of Suitland after learning he died of cancer on November 13 at a Washington hospital. Williams had allegedly defrauded local businessmen of over 1000 with a bogus advertising contract tied to a non existent Fort Worth firm. He vanished last August after securing down payments up to 250 dollars and was said to be morphine addicted. Police warned businessmen to verify credentials and avoid unidentifiable solicitors and checks.
