County Traffic Deaths Pass Last Year's Rate

Nine people have been killed on Frederick County highways so far this year, compared with six in the first three months of 1965. Local state police report five fatal accidents this year versus five in 1965, with Frederick ranking fifth in Maryland for fatalities last year due to the October Emmitsburg crash that killed seven Mount St. Mary’s College students and an out of state couple. Maryland House Approves Regional Government Council Bill
