Woman injured in U S 15 crash near Mountville Road
Frederick woman Susan Scurry, 26, remained in serious but stable condition at a Baltimore hospital after a Thursday crash on US 15. Police say her car rear ended Heather Getzandanner 21, who was stopped to turn left onto Mountville Road. Getzandanner was uninjured.

PEPCO worker injured by electrical flash in Rockville
A PEPCO worker suffered first and second degree burns when an underground transformer flare struck him in Rockville on Thursday. The unidentified man was working near energized equipment, was treated for burns to the front of his body and limbs, and flown by state police helicopter to the Washington Hospital Center burn unit.
