Four Injured in Sunday I-270 Three-Vehicle Wreck
A three-vehicle crash on Interstate 270 north of Doctor Perry Road Sunday afternoon halted traffic for over an hour. Four people were seriously hurt including two children. Frederick Broome of Upper Marlboro, Donna J. King of Ridgely West Virginia, and Robert G. Baldassari of Vienna Virginia were involved. King and Baldassari were treated at area hospitals. two Baldassari children were flown to Children’s National Medical Center but in good condition. Seatbelts and a child safety seat were noted as reducing injuries. Traffic was detoured via Md 355 while Urbana and Hyattstown responders treated victims. Continued on Page AA.
