Frederick County planners approved a site plan for an 18 hole golf course on a 196 acre property north of Walkersville near Glade Road and west of Md 194. The decision follows prior debates over agriculture clusters and efforts to tighten cluster regulations to keep farms intact. James Shaw cautioned clusters preserve farms but noted erosion of intent as applicants seek subdivision and rezonings.
