Soviet plant to hire American workers in Ural region
Premier Lenine grants William D Haywood headed I W W group concession to operate Nadejdinsky Iron Works in the Ural area. Four eight hundred American workers will be brought in to run the properties with tools worth 100 dollars each, under Soviet labor code rules. The government commits 300000 dollars for financing, builds homes, allocates 27000 acres for farming, and plans a union for workers, with all production going to the government.
