Expert says Aron can't follow directions state disagrees
Ruthann Aron testified in a murder for hire trial that she wanted to end her life after her husband left her and after being given Final Exit. Dr. Jonathan Pincus, former Georgetown neurology head, described her as stressed and vulnerable, while Sheriff Raymond M. Kight recalled her as affectionate with her husband. The defense argues lack of criminal responsibility due to execution flaws, but prosecutors note she remained organized in paying and arranging the hit. The trial resumes Monday with new testimony and a verdict on solicitation charges plus insanity condition.
