Three Frederick men sentenced after Friday trials
In Frederick 11th District Court Judge Stanley Y. Bennett jailed three men: John Wayne Wetzel 34? of West Patrick Street for three petty theft charges with a 90 day term, Robert Franklin Klipp 38 of West Patrick Street for 15 days, and Kenneth Bowie 29 of Gaithersburg for 60 days. Wetzel received concurrent six month terms with three suspended. work release allowed. Klipp had remaining suspended terms after a probation violation. Bowie will serve concurrently with Wetzel. Additional cases included probation before verdict for Ronald Beasley and fines for John Kwarta. Other defendants faced probation deals or dismissed charges.
