Interstate Commerce Commission Appoints Special Counsel
The Interstate Commerce Commission moves toward compliance with the Tillman Gillespie resolution to probe restraints on coal and oil handling. Edward B. Whitney of New York and William A. Gissgow Sr. of Philadelphia were retained as special counsel. Hearings will be held in Washington, with sessions likely elsewhere as needed.
