Fatal auto crash claims Mrs Cora Miller near Antietam
Mrs Cora Belle Miller 57 of Martinsburg W Va died when the sedan she rode with her husband left the Sharpsburg pike near Antietam and overturned en route from Maryland relatives. Surviving are her husband four daughters a son two brothers and two sisters. Funeral is set for Wednesday. The Monocacy Club will host Father and Son Night dinner Thursday at 615 pm with two motion reel films and an address by Rev Amos John Traver.

The charred pocketbook lay near the front doorway after the blaze destroyed the house. A negro servant was overcome by smoke while rushing to save Miss Pindell and was dragged to safety.
