Confusing Trout Stock Schedule Causes Fishing Confusion
The Frederick County trout stocking dates and stream closures sparked confusion as officials debated conflicting rules for 1972. An Annapolis release listed closures through 8:00 p.m. Sunday to 5:30 a.m. Friday, yet later notes claimed some streams remained open. The piece urges anglers to consult the 1972 sportfishing guide for accurate hours and closures.
