King Farouk Collects World-Renowned Razor Blade Covers
Boyle notes King Farouk of Egypt as a serious collector with vast coin and stamp holdings and dislikes public display. Hans Schulman, an expert, calls Farouk a shrewd hobbyist who roams late at night over coins and stamps. Farouk also gathers arms books and American coin blocks, with a rare 1922 $5 gold piece once selling for $14,500. In court, W. Andre Wolfe was fined $28 total for driving without a license after a March 6 incident on the Yellow Springs Mountain road.

Morris Myers cites layoff in white collar interest and predicts one suit every two years unless industry adopts stronger appeal, new styles, and advertising. Dr. Samuel Nerlove notes white collar squeeze as incomes rise for laborers and farmers, urging merchandising changes to avert a potential clothes buyers’ strike.

Lenten Thoughts on Authority and True Credentials
A devotional reflection cites Matthew 21 23 27 challenging reliance on ordination or degrees. It argues genuine credentials come from a life aligned with truth and divine authority, exemplified by Jesus who taught in the temple without rabbinic ordination. The plea asks for faith in enduring truth over fading evidences.
