Calvary M E Church presents a Lenten service tonight led by Rev. William C. Royal at 7 30. The program includes Prelude Andante Cantabile Tschai kowsky opening hymn Come Thou Almighty King anthem Fling Wide The Gates of Heaven and cantata The Crucifixion. Rev J H Schmidt reads scripture and Rev Paul H Jeichman delivers the sermon. Organist Miss Eleanor Efchelberger with choirmaster Henry T Wade provide postlude and musical interludes.
Rev. W. T. Gover condemns the loss of Sabbath strictness amid a modern era he calls eratic. He cites elections, parades and sports as proof that serious thinking wanes while commerce and entertainments on Sundays rise. Paganism feared if worship fades.

In Lucketts Virginia near there more than 2,500 people attended the Harvey A. Trittipoe sale on Wednesday. Proceeds exceeded 27509 dollars with livestock farm equipment and household items selling well. Horsed sold 13 to 172 dollars cows 70 to 296 heifers to 72 hogs 750 to 9.69 etc. Auctioneer Robert L.
